Dry Creek Ride

At the request of some community members, Move! tried a more ambitious ride on October 6th into Dry Creek Valley – and it was a resounding success! There is clearly demand for longer adult rides for more experienced cyclists in our community who want to explore the area in a group of old and new friends.

There were over a dozen riders, many who rode e-bikes – the great equalizer when it comes to strength and endurance!

The loop included a stop at the historic Dry Creek General Store to socialize. Thanks to Brian for arranging this snack stop – it was a perfect combo of food, drinks and conversation – and to all other volunteers for making this event happen!

If anyone has ideas for future community walks or rides, please send an email to: admin@movehealdsburg.org. Community walk ideas in the planning included the Riddell Preserve and the “Alleys of Healdsburg”, and there will be a festive bike ride as part of the Merry Healdsburg celebration on the Plaza in early December (think lighted bikes, holiday music and even some fancy dress!).
